Geotechnical Drilling

Utilizing direct push technology, our licensed probe operators use a range of equipment to delineate and characterize the subsurface terrain.

What Is A Geotechnical Drilling Rig?

Geoprobe Geotechnical machines are designed to meet drillers’ needs. They give faster and more efficient results, which saves time and money for environmental projects. The process of geotechnical drilling refers to a way to collect information. This drill provides low impact and is easy to maneuver giving workers no trouble when investigating for projects. The geotechnical drill is accessible in limited areas and is able to move freely with no disruption.

When Is Geotechnical Drilling Necessary For Projects?

Geotechnical drilling is primarily used as part of the construction process, otherwise known as the ‘investigation process’. The information collected is carried out on site prior to construction. Geotechnical drilling is used to engineer the foundation structures, such as: roadways, buildings, and tunnels. For very big structures, it is required to perform a site analysis. The use of a geotechnical rig during a site analysis is to help determine whether or not a site is going to be appropriate for construction. During the analysis, drillers collect rock and soil samples, as well as drilling to establishing soil stability and other matters of interest. Without the site analysis, it may cause structures to collapse or shift due to unsafe rock or soil conditions.

Spartan Drilling Equipment

At Spartan Drilling we use the Geoprobe Model 7822 for our Geotechnical Drilling. This Geoprobe Model is a high-capacity direct push machine with a narrow platform. The 7822 platform allows for us to use the machine in limited access areas, but still provide sufficient results. This machine is dependable, adaptable and easy to maneuver.

The Spartan Drilling Experience

Our Spartan Drilling team holds extensive Geotechnical Drilling experience. All technicians are licensed and qualified to successfully complete a wide range of geologic situations in a variety of settings. Our goal is to provide a practical recommendation for a safe and stable structure to be built, or if need, we may suggest other innovative options to complete your project. At Spartan Drilling we own and maintain all our equipment that helps us provide reliable/high-quality results at a cost-effective price.

We are here to provide on-time, quality services for your drilling projects. Call today for information!
